|Composition:||100 g cont.: Baptista tinctoria D6 4,8 g; Drosera rotundifolia D4 4,8 g; Hydrastis Canadensis D6 4,8 g; Ipecacuanha D4 4,8 g; Rumex crispus D4 4,8 g; Sambucus nigra D4 4,8 g.Preservatives: Propylene glycol 0,9 %; Methylhydroxybenzoate 0,08 %; Propylhydroxybenzoate 0,02 %.|
|Indications:||Relief from acute and chronic coughs of all origins, e.g., dry cough, expectorant cough, whooping cough, croup.|
|Contraindications:||Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, including excipients.|
|Warnings:||Nectadyn may be added to warm tea or other warm drinks, but not to milk.|
|Interactions:||No interactions studies have been performed.|
|Pregnancy and lactation:||If you are pregnant or breast feeding your baby please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other health care professional for advice before taking this medicine.|
|Dosage and directions for use:||ACUTE:
Adults:§10-15 ml 3-5 times daily.
Children (3-10 years old):§10 ml 3-5 times daily.
Children (6 months – 3 years old):§5 ml 3-5 times daily.
Babies (0-6 months):§on the advice of a medical practitioner.CHRONIC:
Adults:§5 ml 3-5 times daily.
Children (3-10 years old):§2,5 ml 3-5 times daily.It is advised to clean the enclosed measuring device after each use.
Always tell your health care professional if you are taking any other medicine. In the event of over dosage, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If neither is available, contact the nearest hospital or poison control centre.

Diabetics can use Nectadyn.
They have to realize however, that 15 ml of Nectadyn contain on average 7,2 g of carbohydrates (0.6 BU), 10 ml about 4,8 g of carbohydrates (0.4 BU) and 5 ml about 2,4 g of carbohydrates (0.2 BU).
One BU is 12 g of carbohydrates.Not all side effects reported for this medicine are included in this leaflet. Should your general health worsen or if you experience untoward effects while taking this medicine, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other health care professional for advice.
